Author Guidelines
- Two-File System: To ensure double-blind review, you must upload an Anonymous Manuscript (no names or affiliations) and a separate Title Page (with author details, ORCID iDs, and funding).
- Formatting: Use 12-pt font, double-spacing, and continuous line numbering.
- Structured Abstract: All journals require a strict 250-word abstract organized under mandatory headings (e.g., Purpose, Methodology, Findings, Implications, Originality).
- Citation Styles: Varies by journal (APA 7th, IEEE, Vancouver, Harvard, ASA, or Bluebook). Always check your specific journal’s page before formatting references.
Online Submission
- Portal Only: We do not accept submissions via email. All manuscripts must be uploaded through the secure Willóh Editorial Portal.
- ORCID Mandatory: The corresponding author must link a verified ORCID iD when creating their account.
- Metadata Entry: You will copy and paste your title, structured abstract, and 4–6 keywords directly into the submission system.
- Tracking: Once submitted, you will receive a unique tracking ID (e.g., JAMRSI-2026-0073) to monitor your paper’s live status on your dashboard.
Peer Review Process
- Plagiarism Screen: All papers are run through iThenticate. Submissions with >12% total similarity (or >2% from a single source) are instantly desk-rejected.
- Double-Blind Evaluation: Your anonymized paper is routed to at least two independent, international experts outside your native region to prevent geographic bias.
- Timelines: Desk screening takes 5–7 days. External peer review typically takes 6–10 weeks.
- Production: Accepted papers are professionally typeset, assigned a permanent Crossref DOI, and published in high-fidelity HTML, XML, and PDF formats.
Open Access & APC Waivers
- Publishing Pathways: Authors can choose Gold Open Access (CC BY 4.0) or traditional hybrid/subscription models (where applicable).
- Global Equity Waivers: Financial barriers should not stop great science. We offer 100% APC waivers for authors in low-income economies and 50% discounts for lower-middle-income economies.
- Invoicing: Article Processing Charges (APCs) are only invoiced after your manuscript has passed peer review and received an official “Accept” verdict.
Research Ethics & Open Data
- COPE & ICMJE Compliance: We enforce strict ethical guidelines. host, guest, or gift authorship is strictly prohibited.
- Human Subjects (IRB): Any research involving human participants (clinical trials, consumer tracking, surveys, ethnographies) must explicitly state IRB/Ethics Committee approval and informed consent in the methodology section.
- Open Science: Authors are strongly encouraged (and in some journals, mandated) to deposit anonymized datasets, statistical code, or CAD/BIM files into trusted public repositories like Zenodo, OSF, or Harvard Dataverse upon acceptance.
